Items include rodeo series from Dallas/Fort Worth, black and white flower series, and St. Louis images including Busch Stadium, St. Louis Arch and Eads Bridge.


Flood of '93

July 2003 - Drone's "Flood of '93" Images Featured On Online Gallery

Several of Mike Drone's images taken during the Great Flood of 1993 will be featured on The St. Louis Post-Dispatch's stltoday.com site. The images, including shots of The St. Louis Landing, Chesterfield Valley and Fenton, Mo., will be included in a special report photo gallery marking the 10th anniversary of the flood.


Drone Images Sponsors Ad Club of St. Louis Event

Drone Images sponsored an Ad Club of St. Louis "Network Wednesday" happy hour May 28 at Rue 13 on Washington Avenue. Black and white infrared images were displayed and offered for sale of local landmarks including the St. Louis Arch, Busch Stadium, Eads Bridge, Bevo Mill and more. Images will remain on display through June 4, 2003.


March 2003- Drone Images Featured in The Common Space

Mike Drone and twelve Drone Images photographs are featured in "The Ordinary Eye" section of the March issue of The Common Space, www.thecommonspace.org. This online monthly magazine covers grassroots and culture in St. Louis.

Honorable Mention

Mike Drone's infrared black and white image of the Missouri Pacific Building recently received an honorable mention in the March issue of St. Louis Magazine's "Unseen St. Louis" photography contest.


December 2002 - St. Louis Design Magazine Features Drone Images

The December 2002 issue of St. Louis Design Magazine features the launch of Drone Images in its "Art & Artisans" section. The feature includes Drone's images of the Missouri History Museum, the Missouri Pacific Building, the Raeder Place Building on Laclede's Landing, and the Eads Bridge.

St. Louis Art Auction To Include "Glistening Gateway"

November 2002- "Glistening Gateway" will be among 40 pieces of art auctioned off at the Art Coop's Holiday Art Auction, November 24th in St. Louis. The signed,matted and framed 18" x 24" silver gelatin will have a $400 reserve. Also included in the auction are paintings, jewelry, photography, sculpture, and multi-media pieces from other St. Louis artists, all with $60 to $600 minimum bids. The Art Coop is located at 1520 Washington Avenue in St. Louis. Admission is free, and the event will run from 1pm - 5pm.


Drone Images "Glistening Gateway" and Busch Stadium Prints are Now Available At St. Louis Landmark Stores

November 2002 - Drone Images award-winning "Glistening Gateway" poster print is now available at the St. Louis Art Museum Store, Gateway Arch Museum Store, and Best of St. Louis in Union Station. The Busch Stadium and "Glistening Gateway" images are both available as 11" x 14" matted prints at the Best of St. Louis in Union Station.


Drone & Mueller President Launches Drone Images

September 2002- Mike Drone, President and CEO of St. Louis-based Drone & Mueller and Associates, recently launched Drone Images. Drone Images, www.droneimages.com, offers a variety of black and white and black and white infrared photography of cities around North America shot by Drone. St. Louis shots include Forest Park, Busch Stadium, Gateway Arch, Bevo Mill, Old Cathedral, Old Courthouse, Civil Courts building, Shell and Missouri-Pacific buildings and more. Also included is a series on trains from the St. Louis Transportation Museum. Additional featured cities will include Washington, DC; Charleston, SC; Orlando, FL and others.


"Glistening Gateway" Named Best In Show Winner

August 2002 - Mike Drone was a featured artist and Best in Show winner of the St. Louis Artist's Guild Summer 2002 "Headed For The Future" photography exhibition.Drone's image of the St. Louis Gateway Arch (entitled "Glistening Gateway") was awarded the Guild's "Belle Cramer Memorial Prize" out of over 190 entries. Drone shot the image at dusk, using a special infrared film and filtering technique to capture the sunshine on the north leg of the Arch.


Drone & Mueller Sponsors High School Photography Contest

December 2001 - Drone & Mueller and Associates recently sponsored a student photography contest for Chaminade Preparatory School in St. Louis. Student photographs were judged on criteria ranging from creativity to developing, in categories including Sports, "My Generation" and "Back to Nature." Drone & Mueller art directors selected winners in each category, and prizes were awarded.
